Fabric (I used a light 100% cotton) 1.5 m (1.5 m wide) | Scissors | Pins | Thread & Sewing machine | Double-edge bias tape for finishing
I. My cut pieces below (front and back layered on top of each other since I like to cut in one go). I'm EU36/US4. The only adjustment I made to the front piece was to cut the neckline a bit deeper.
II. After sewing my shoulder and side seams (which I stopped sewing 20 cm before the hem for small side slits), I finished the neckline and arm holes with bias tape. I cover all that in this post.
III. The final step was to finish my side slits and hem the dress.
