My mom's coming to visit us in Dubai this week, and apparently she's taken the opportunity to commission clothing from me for her arrival. She was looking for a loose pant with a matching top, so I figured this was the perfect trial run for a SS2016 -inspired slouchy pajama-like combo. When I texted my mom that we'll see if she actually manages to leave with the set, I quite like it, her response was "Trust me, I will." Thanks Mom. My beloved better half also promptly informed me I looked like a nurse as soon as I put the finished pants and top on. Just can't catch a break today.
Didn't do a tutorial for this one since there's really 0 new stuff here, the pants I made almost exactly like these ones (though obviously full length, with a regular waist band, a couple pleats at the front, and a small added detail of a double seam at the side). The top was the most basic of V- necks (I've made a couple recently, here's how I did the bias-bound V-neck). Used a silky crêpe, which feels like a dream.
